Thank you to everyone to supported and attended our first ever Crawfest!
The event was held on May 11, 2024 at the beautiful Prime Acres in Woodville, Texas.
The day started off with electrofishing demonstrations by Blessed Bayou Wildlife & Fisheries, followed by farm and facility tours, a fawn seminar by Erica Caldwell, biologist panel Q&A with Keith Warren modertating, Macy Ledbetter with Spring Creek Outdoors, Davin Cox with Venado Sires, Lin Poor with Texas Wildlife Management, and Chris Methner with Blessed Bayou. Crawfish and BBQ was served for lunch and then Dr. Chris Seabury with Texas A&M presented the CWD Predictive Genonmic Breeding System. After that, TDA Executive Director and TDA President, Kevin Davis and Jody Phillips spot with an industry update. Following that was the fundraiser auction and raffle drawings.
