Thank you to everyone to supported and participated in our 2024 Annual Convention!
The event was held August 16-17, 2024 at the JW Marriott Hill Country Resort and Spa in San Antonio, Texas. The event took place in the Nelson Wolff Exhibit Ballroom.
Friday consisted of the TAHC Post-Mortem Sample Collection class, a Breeder Seminar by Dr. Luke Duckworth, CWD Presentation & Discussion with Dr. Chris Seabury, followed by a Regulatory and Legislative Update by TDA President, Jody Phillips, and TDA Executive Director, Kevin Davis, the Superior Auction and Grand Auction, and to end the night with a concert by the Ray Johnston Band.
Saturday we had a seminar for Managing Fawning Season & Maintaining Deer Breeding Facility Records, a cornhole championship game, Scholarship Recognition, Select Auction and Grand Auction, and to conclude the night with the raffle drawings.
We can't thank all of our sponsors, consignors, buyers, donors, exhibitors, attendees, and many more who contributed towards the success of the 26th Annual Convention. We enjoyed getting to see everyone interact in meaningful conversations over the course of the weekend and have some many industry leaders who share a common bond for Texas wildlife and habitat conservation.
